
The Altoona City Authority recruits candidates for employment in
a variety of full-time jobs. Vacancies are posted in order to provide
an equal opportunity to interested applicants at its water and wastewater
facilities, and are advertised in the Altoona Mirror. Depending
on the position to be filled, ads may also be placed in professional
journals and other newspapers as needed. Occasionally, competition
for promotional opportunities is limited to members of the Authority's
workforce, therefore, these opportunities are not advertised for
the general public.
Resumes and applications for employment are accepted for positions
which are currently vacant. If posted or advertised, applications
